Designer Brandon Maxwell stays true to his brand ethos in exploring his ideal image of the everyday woman looking and feeling her most stylish. But this season, Maxwell switched things up a bit with the latest collection featuring menswear for the first time. Tapping into his Texan roots with a whole lot of denim, this star-studded runway showed effortlessly chic looks fit for the country club with crisp button downs and slouchy sweaters. Here’s all the details:
Who: Irina Shayk, Bella Hadid, Candice Swanepoel, Lucky Blue Smith, Grace Elizabeth, and more of your favorite house-name supermodels
What: Models walked hand-in-hand to pop classics like Madonna’s “Like a Virgin” showing off the season’s go-to accessories like chunky enamel jewelry and structured handbags complete with tiny bottles of Maxwell’s own pink Champagne.
Where: Brooklyn, NY
When: September 6th, 2019
Why: Maxwell featured a series of looks embodying the perfectly undone off-duty-model style that he’s known for. From billowing mint-toned silk blouses paired with jeans, to structured blazers belted as a mini-dress, this collection is giving casual a whole new meaning.
