American footwear powerhouse Brian Atwood and Italian shoe label Scarosso have joined forces on an energetic line of heels, platforms, and ankle-boots. Born out of Atwood’s Italian infatuation and deep bond with Milan, the collection focuses on wearable, yet wholly desirable, silhouettes

“My collaboration with Scarosso was a perfect fit since they are a great Italian shoe manufacturer, and my work has a long history of Italian design,” Atwood said in a statement. “They asked me to develop a collection of high heels and boots, a category that has never been offered by the shoe brand before.”

Merging Scarosso’s unbridled classicism and Atwood’s sleek sensibility, the collection is comprised of five daringly new silhouettes. From sexy over-the-knee boots, and eclectic heels, to understated sling-backs, the collection features a host of options for dozens of varying occasions. Known for wearable must-haves, Sacrosso’s sensible design DNA is seamlessly incorporated into the high-octane designs of Atwood.

“I wanted to create classic styles that should be a staple of every woman’s wardrobe with rich fabrications and an eye for simple, impactful design,” Atwood explains. “I believe we have hit a ‘home run’ which will be a great opportunity for Scarosso to enter into the heels market with a ‘Wow factor!’”

With a wide array of fashionable colorways and updated takes on classic silhouettes, the collaboration merges the best of both worlds: familiarity and innovation. The collection will be available to shop mid-November and a portion of proceeds will go to charity.
