Bridgerton Renewed For Seasons Three And Four

The London ton will bless our screens for many more seasons.

Dry those tears, Bridgerton fans. After receiving the devastating news that Rege-Jean Page (and his abs) will not return for Bridgerton’s second season, Lady Whistledown has announced that the beloved Netflix show is renewed for seasons three and four.

It’s no wonder Bridgerton’s producers are eager to renew — the steamy period drama captivated a record high number of viewers. The show is currently taping its highly anticipated second season, which will follow the story of Daphne’s rakish brother Andrew and his dalliances with new character Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley). A fresh group of cast additions will add to the drama.

Bridgerton swept us off our feet,” Netflix VP of global TV Bela Bajaria said in a statement. “The creative team, led by Shonda, knew the material and delivered a beautiful, emotional, romantic drama for our members. They have some exciting plans for the future, and we think audiences will continue to swoon for this show. We’re planning to be in the Bridgerton business for a long time to come.”
