Britney Spears heads off of social media again. After posting a cryptic Instagram post talking about finding her freedom and wanting to be “feared” not “pitied,” the pop star deactivated her Instagram account. Neither Spears or her fiancé, Sam Asghari, have made a statement regarding her disappearance from social media. 

The deactivation follows Spears new goal to take control over her life from now on. The star was just recently freed from her conservatorship she was under for the last 13 years. With new new freedom comes her new found voice, and she’s using it to speak out against her family, such as sister Jaimee Lynn Spears, for all that they have put her through over the course of her conservatorship. Spears has not only used her Instagram to reclaim her voice, but to reclaim her life as well. She has posted several pictures of her body, sharing how great it feels to enjoy her body and life again after years of hardship. She has posted several images with her new fiancé, and was beginning to look happy again. 

Now with her disappearance, fans are hoping that Spears is taking the time she needs to recuperate from her hectic year. Although we’ll miss her dancing videos and cute vacation posts, we’re hoping that our beloved Britney will make her return soon.
