During Paris Fashion Week, Kenzo presented a major throwback collection, La Collection Memento, a nostalgic nod to their 1986 debut. For La Collection Memento 2, a denim-driven and bright production, there could be no one better than Britney Spears to front the campaign. She basically claimed the throne as Queen of Denim at the 2001 American Music Awards. Though the pop icon is no stranger to the fashion spotlight, with her own lingerie line and collections with Candies in years past, she has never fronted a luxury fashion line. Now, Spears has inked a long overdue contract with the major French label.

Shot in Los Angeles by Peter Lindbergh, Spears is seen in everything from floral ensembles to thigh-high lace-up denim sneakers. Though this loud clothing is not something Spears is rocking these days, the upbeat collection fits her well. While her days of eccentric fashion are mostly in her rearview mirror, replaced by the responsibility of raising two sons, Spears claims she had a good time shooting the "youthful" collection. "It’s tricky because as a mother, you don’t take as much risk with your style,” she tells Vogue. “I think when I was younger I took so many risks and really went for it. There was no planning what I wore, and it was like, okay, I am just going to put on the most outrageous thing. I think as a mother you hold back from that out of fear of embarrassing your kids and out of respect for them.”
