Bruno Mars x Lacoste Get Retro for new Ricky Regal Collection
The inaugural collection as his designer alter-ego
Bruno Mars is where it’s at.
Following the release of his and Anderson .Paak’s debut single as the effortlessly cool Silk Sonic, the Grammy-winning artist announces his first foray into fashion with a brand called and alter-ego Ricky Regal. David Bowie had Ziggy Stardust, Prince had Camille, and Beyoncé Sacha Fierce, although Bruno Mars remains as such on stage, behind the seams of lavish luxurious garments he is Ricky Regal.
Launched on Friday, the debut collection was brought to life in collaboration with Lacoste, creating an ingenious marriage between the French brand’s sport and luxury heritage with Ricky Regal’s 1960s-70s groovy glamour. Hightlights range from loose tie-die button-up shirts and oversized shorts to pop tracksuits and retro polos.
The Ricky Regal campaign features the singer himself alongside his Silk Sonic partner. Vibrant color-ways paired with distinct patterns and prints make for an energetic assortment that matches Bruno Mars’ enigmatic personality. The lineup is completed with a selection of accessories such as aviator sunglasses, slides and socks.
Find the collection online at retailers such as Ssense and The Webster, and at Lacoste’s online store, and in select Lacoste locations including their new concept store on Los Angeles’ Melrose Place.
