BE follows BTS’ release of Dynamite which came available to fans back in August. BTS’ Map of the Soul 7, released earlier this year, was the boy band’s first album of 2020. The album quickly rose to the top of Billboard’s World Album charts and landed them, for the tenth time, the number one spot. In July, BTS dropped a teaser for their new reality show In the Soop.
“Due to COVID-19, people around the world have been going through tough times and we wanted to share some positive energy with our fans,” BTS said on streaming platform V LIVE this summer. “When we first heard and recorded the song, we were energized and our spirits were lifted up. We can’t wait to share this song with you all and enjoy it together.”
Earlier this month, BTS was among a number of performers — including Migos, Miley Cyrus, Thomas Rhett, Usher, Kieth Urban, Coldplay, Kane Brown and Khalid — to take stage at iHeartRadio’s 2020 Music Fest.
“ARMY” fans can now pre-order BE which is set to arrive November, 20th.
