BTS’ Single ‘Dynamite’ Revealed

After keeping the name under wraps, BTS told ‘ARMY’ the song’s title.

BTS revealed the title of their new single “Dynamite” Monday which is set to drop at the end of this month.

The Korean-Pop boy band teased fans in July about the release of a new single in August, but left the track unnamed until now. “Dynamite” will be an upbeat summer track sung entirely in English, BTS told fans in an interview on V Live.

“We also needed a breakthrough during these unforeseen times, so we worked on this new song,” BTS said. “When we first heard and recorded the song, we were energized and our spirits were lifted up. We can’t wait to share this song with you all and enjoy it together.”

BTS is debuting a pair of limited edition collector items alongside “Dynamite.” The limited collections include choices of either a vinyl or cassette tape. Each item is printed with the single’s retro-rainbow fading logo. “Army” enthusiasts can pre-order the song on BTS’ website.

The international boy band has had one busy summer. Back in June, BTS held an online concert “Bang Bang Con: The Live” which attracted hundreds of thousands of viewers. The virtual concert landed BTS a Guinness World Record for the most viewers of a music concert live stream.

In July, BTS dropped their latest studio album “Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey.” The album quickly rose to the top of Billboard’s World Album charts and landed them, for the tenth time, the number one spot.

Original news of BTS’ August single came as iHeartRadio announced their 2020 Music Fest lineup. The festival will air September 27 and will include performances by BTS, Migos, Miley Cyrus, Thomas Rhett, Usher, Kieth Urban, Coldplay, Kane Brown and Khalid.

BTS’ new single “Dynamite” will drop August 21st.
