Bucherer Blue Drops Exceptional New Line Of Timepiece Novelties

Innovative. Daring. Exceptional.

After much anticipation, on September 22nd, the luxury timepiece retailer Bucherer BLUE officially dropped its latest line of remarkable new watches. For this collection, Bucherer collaborated alongside three independent Haute Horlogerie manufacturers – all of which stand for originality and creativity and are true masters of the timepiece craft – Girard Perregaux, H. Moser & Cie, and L’Epée. Together with Bucherer, they have created unique objects of desire, from wristwatches to a mechanical kinetic sculpture that tells the Time – limited to only 18 pieces each. The acclaimed “touch of blue,” the trademark feature of Bucherer BLUE, has been interpreted in three ways: first as iconic flying bridges by Girard Perregaux, in the form of elegant blue baguette, and second as cut sapphires by H. Moser & Cie. and finally as eye-catching electric blue rims at L’Epée.

Girard Perregaux Three Flying Bridges x Bucherer BLUE

The “Three Flying Bridges” piece celebrates Girard- Perregaux’s virtuosity through a blue lens. The Tourbillon with Three Bridges is regarded as the world’s oldest watch movement still in production, epitomizing the ability of Girard-Perregaux to reinvent yesterday’s tradition for today’s connoisseur – with time. The architecture of the movement has also evolved to give the impression of a levitating movement inside the case. This timepiece is truly a masterwork of Haute Horlogerie. The titanium case is fitted between two sapphire crystal glass boxes reinforcing the visual effect of aerial delicacy.

Moser & Cie Streamliner Tourbillon x Bucherer BLUE

The first Streamliner limited edition manufactured exclusively for a partner, created to celebrate the longstanding collaboration between H. Moser & Cie. and Bucherer. The collection, which has only been on the market for a short time and is already considered a holy grail by many collectors, combines the codes of minimalism and contemporary elegance for which H. Moser & Cie. has become known. The integrated steel bracelet, every detail of the individual links, and the cushion-shaped case of the Streamliner timepieces pay tribute to Bucherer BLUE through their bezel with blue baguette-cut sapphires shine their light on the iconic fumé dial.

L’Epée 1839 Time Fast x Bucherer BLUE

The Time Fast x Bucherer BLUE is an exceptionally crafted kinetic race car sculpture that tells the time. Creators L’Epée 1839 and Bucherer BLUE were united by their desire to be ahead of time and their devotion to manufactural excellence. The design evokes the dream of becoming a race driver. The single-seater race car with a 50s classics fluid design elaborately captures the essence of childhood fantasy. Its engine is composed of a tiered movement with an 8-day power reserve, shaped to the bodywork in the recognizable Bucherer BLUE finish. In a tribute to childhood, the mechanical motor is wound like a pull-back toy car. The L’Epée Time Fast is an automated piece of art with a high coolness factor.
