Just in time for the Chinese Lunar New Year, Burberry is ringing in the Year of the Dragon with a new collection dedicated to the celebratory occasion. To unveil the collection, the London-based brand tapped house ambassadors and actors Tang Wei and Chen Kun from the campaign, photographed in the streets of Chengdu, China by photographer Ryan McGinley.
With a heavy focus on classic British wardrobe archetypes, the collection introduces a range of ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories adorned with the house’s fresh interpretation on a houndstooth check and new seasonal “rose print,” featuring the classic Burberry check in vibrant red tone—an ode to the traditional colors associated with good fortune and prosperity.
