Burberry Makes a Splash at the Standard in Bangkok

The British house transforms one of Bangkok’s most iconic hotels into a sun-soaked summer oasis
Burberry has taken over The Standard, Bangkok, and it looks exactly as good as it sounds. Housed inside the Mahanakhon building, one of the Thai capital’s most iconic skyscrapers, the British house has reimagined its signature Check in a custom sun-drenched yellow that runs from the rooftop pool cabanas all the way down to the photo booth in The Parlor. Think: very chic, very summer, very much somewhere you want to be right now.

The takeover draws on green, Bangkok’s official color, for its logo, nodding to the city’s vitality while staying rooted in Burberry’s long heritage of exploration and the outdoors. The green appears throughout the hotel’s custom brand experiences and wellness programming; a subtle but deliberate nod to Bangkok’s identity woven into everything from activations to the takeover’s own logo itself.
Guests can lounge poolside with a curated Burberry menu and ice lollies served from a bespoke cart, all against the backdrop of the Bangkok skyline. The launch party featured a performance by a local artist, with friends of the brand cruising the city on Burberry Check tuk-tuks.
Burberry’s High Summer and Summer 2026 collections are available to shop directly from the hotel boutique. This limited-edition takeover runs only through July 31st at The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon.
