The swinging sixties brought inspiration across mediums. Whether through fashion, film or music, it was an era of creative liberation and experimentation. For Burberry’s summer 2026 campaign, music and the milieu of this time was their muse, as well.
On the luxury brand’s latest campaign, Chief Creative Officer, Daniel Lee, shares that “music pushes boundaries, blurs lines and defines the codes of fashion. It is about self-expression, originality and belonging.”

Fringe, paisley and signature plaids marry the era of the collection’s inspiration with the classicism of the British brand. Slim silhouettes and mod tailoring take the forefront with shift dresses and miniskirts at the heart of the collection. Embracing tactile and craft elements of sixties designs, mirrored tiles and crocheted leather are incorporated into garments and some dresses are hand-crocheted and embroidered. Bold tones, like rich eggplant, vibrant teal and bubblegum pink, echo the unapologetic nature of the UK music scene. For this campaign, Burberry featured none other than sixties icon, Twiggy, alongside a cast of models embracing the mod spirit.
