Burberry’s High Summer 2026 Campaign Unfolds at a Sun-kissed Lido

Shot by photographer Ryan McGinley, the campaign captures models lounging in Burberry Check swimwear and summer accessories
Every British summer unfurls beside open-air pools, and Burberry lets the scene guide the way for its high summer campaign. The collection brings together British actors Simone Ashley and Tom Blyth, alongside models Alva Claire, Babacar N’Doye, and Sacha Quenby, joined by a cast of synchronized swimmers and divers splashing and basking in hazy lido light—public outdoor pools framed by sunbathing decks and poolside cafés.
“A lido holds a particular kind of nostalgia for the British,” shares Daniel Lee, the Chief Creative Officer at Burberry. “The moment the sun comes out, we make the most out of the weather. We wanted to bring to life a warm summer’s day spent in and around the water’s edge with friends.”

The campaign film is directed by Francis Plummer, while a portfolio of images is shot by photographer Ryan McGinley. Together, they capture moments of euphoric summer, washed in candy-colored or sun-bleached saturation: friends in mid-air dives, drifting through the water, chewing on popsicles, and sprawled poolside.

In it, Burberry Check bikini and men’s swim shorts trimmed with the signature check make an appearance. On the lounge, the models sport tops, skirts, and shirts in airy cotton voile, with new Burberry Check slides and Pavilion sandals at the feet. Elsewhere, Margate bags handcrafted from Madagascar’s raffia palm leaves, crocheted bucket hats, and wraparound sunglasses round out the edit.
