Burberry’s TB Bag Is Its New Runway Staple
The new bag from Burberry might catch your eye.
Burberry has moved into a new style of handbags that has been a fixture on its runways for the last two seasons. Debuting in the Spring/Summer 2019 collection, the TB bag accessorized many looks, clutched in hand, thrown over the shoulder and wrapped around models’ waists. The “TB” monogram is in reference to the fashion house’s founder, Thomas Burberry. These bags, pioneered by newly appointed Creative Director, Riccardo Tisci, are handmade in Italy and available as small or medium sized bags, bum bags or envelope clutches. Variation runs deeper with color options ranging from classic blacks and browns to a splashy powder blue and either a detachable chain or a leather strap to accompany your bag.
