Bvlgari Brings Serpenti Infinito to New York’s High Line

The Maison marked the arrival of Serpenti Infinito with a monumental installation, new high jewelry, and a celebration overlooking Manhattan
Bvlgari introduced the New York chapter of Serpenti Infinito with the unveiling of auruBOROS—Urban Memory and Collective Dream, a monumental golden installation overlooking Manhattan’s West Side. Created by Berlin-based artistic duo Plastique Fantastique, composed of Yena Young and Marco Canevacci, the work takes the form of two intertwined coils. These appear to emerge from beneath the pavement, placing the curves of the Serpenti within the daily movement of the High Line.

Visitors can walk beneath and around the structure, experiencing it as both sculpture and architecture. Its reflective surface changes with the light and the passing crowds, drawing from the hidden currents, compressed pace, and constant motion of New York. Known for immersive environments that blur the boundary between real and imagined space, Young and Canevacci created a work that never appears entirely still, reflecting the sense of transformation long associated with Bvlgari’s Serpenti.
The celebration continued at Boom atop The Standard, where guests from fashion, art, music, and design gathered against the Manhattan skyline. Anne Hathaway, Dua Lipa, and Lisa attended alongside Hudson Williams, Joey King, Caleb McLaughlin, and other friends of the Maison. DJ sets by Mona Matsuoka, Kaytranada, and Gjin Lipa carried the evening, followed by a live performance from Andra Day.

Bvlgari also presented a selection of one-of-a-kind high jewelry created for the New York edition of Serpenti Infinito. References to American painting, sculpture, and architecture appeared throughout the designs, interpreted through the house’s distinctive approach to color, form, and craftsmanship. Three new Serpenti Tubogas pieces were introduced alongside the global debut of an exclusive High Accessories Serpenti minaudière, with the complete selection now displayed at Bvlgari’s Fifth Avenue boutique.
Several guests wore pieces from the new high jewelry collection throughout the evening. Hathaway chose the transformable Serpenti Falling Drops necklace with a Serpenti bracelet, two diamond rings, and diamond stud earrings, while Lipa wore the transformable Serpenti Helix necklace with a Serpenti bracelet, ring, and yellow diamond studs. Lisa selected the Serpenti Flag necklace, completing her look with matching high jewelry earrings and a ring.

Hudson Williams wore a Serpenti High Jewelry necklace with coordinating earrings and a ring, while Joey King paired her Serpenti necklace and bracelet with diamond earrings and a Serpenti Cuoricino Mini Top Handle bag. Caleb McLaughlin completed his look with a Serpenti High Jewelry brooch and a yellow-gold Serpenti Viper necklace.
Although the celebration lasted one evening, its public presentation continues across the city. auruBOROS – Urban Memory and Collective Dream remains on view on the High Line above Little West 12th Street through September 20, while the accompanying High Jewelry collection can be seen at Bvlgari’s Fifth Avenue flagship.
