Hosted on October 22 in Los Angeles, BVLGARI unveiled its Polychroma high jewelry collection through an immersive gala that celebrated brilliance, craftsmanship, and color. The evening brought together icons of film and music, each adorned in pieces that reflected the house’s mastery of light and hue.

Introducing the collection, Jean-Christophe Babin, BVLGARI’s CEO, described Polychroma as “a celebration of contrast, emotion, and light. A dialogue between art and craftsmanship that defines the essence of BVLGARI.” The collection, he noted, reflects the house’s enduring fascination with color and architecture, where each gemstone is chosen not only for its brilliance but for the emotion it conveys.

Inspired by Rome’s Cinecittà Studios, drapery cascaded from the ceiling in soft waves of rose, amber, and turquoise light, while candlelit tables stretched beneath, adorned with vivid floral arrangements and crystal settings that glowed like gemstones. Outside, the façade of a Hollywood backlot transformed into a luminous jewel box, its windows illuminated in shades of violet, blue, and gold.

Among the night’s guests, Viola Davis captivated in a platinum high jewelry necklace featuring a 5.07-carat pear diamond surrounded by marquise and fancy-cut diamonds, paired with matching platinum earrings and an onyx-accented ring. Completing her look, Davis carried the Serpenti Forever chain pochette in black calf leather with emerald-green lining and a gold-plated snakehead closure. Her husband, Julius Tennon, joined her in understated elegance, the couple radiating timeless sophistication on the red carpet.

Kirsten Dunst exuded soft glamour in pink gold pieces from BVLGARI’s Serpenti line, including a high jewelry necklace and bracelet with mother-of-pearl elements and pavé-set diamonds, paired with Viper earrings and rings in rose gold. She carried the black Ginkgo clutch in calf leather and suede, a sleek counterpoint to the iridescent warmth of her jewels.

Jon Hamm, accompanied by Anna Osceola, opted for a masculine take on BVLGARI sophistication. He wore the Octo Roma Naturalia watch in rose gold with tiger’s eye details and a tourbillon movement, alongside a high jewelry brooch in yellow gold set with onyx and a 13.44-carat rubellite.

Idina Menzel, who performed during the evening, embodied Polychroma’s spirit of vibrance and power. The singer and actress wore a high jewelry necklace in pink gold with a 14.87-carat cushion spinel, 23.29 carats of emeralds, and more than 25 carats of pavé-set diamonds. She complimented it with a pair of emerald earrings and a bold ring in pink gold featuring a 5.32-carat octagonal emerald.
