Bvlgari Launches New Glow-in-the-dark Octo Finissimo Chronograph
Dubbed the “Nuclear Option,” the watch is a follow-up in Bvlgari’s partnership with Revolution and The Rake.

Bvlgari, Revolution and The Rake have partnered up once again to create a new exclusive, limited-edition version of the Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT watch. Dubbed the “Nuclear Option,” this new edition features a new glow-in-the-dark dial coated in green Super-LumiNova, creating a “negative” stand-out effect.

The new watch is crafted in ceramic, with a 43mm matte black ceramic case and bracelet, a chronograph function, a 24-hour GMT function, a local time one-hour advance pusher, and a discreet seconds subdial. The accessory is powered by BVL 318 movement and holds 55 hours of power reserve.
The “Nuclear” is a follow-up to the trio’s 2020 “White Light” version of the Octo Finissimo, which was crafted in sandblasted titanium and featured a luminous white dial. The goal was to create an “ultimate tool” edition of Bvlgari’s signature watch and, because the indexes and hands were too thin to be painted with LumiNova, they had the idea of coating the entire dial instead.

The latest version was originally the second prototype of that collaboration, one that, according to Revolution’s page, “we couldn’t stop thinking about.” This is the third time Bvlgari’s Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT has been redesigned for Revolution and The Rake, and the first to be produced in ceramic.
The Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT “Nuclear Option” is a limited edition of 30 pieces and is priced at $19,550 on RevolutionWatch.com.
