April marks the inaugural expansion from the Bvlgari house, as its Manifattura in Valenza transforms into the world’s largest single-branded jewelry manufacturing site. Bvlgari celebrates this unveiling as not just a historical moment for the Maison, but as a tribute to the values of Made in Italy.

Spanning 33,000 sqm, the initiative aims to double the site’s production capacity by 2029, creating new jobs and housing the Maison’s first public training school, the Scuola Bvlgari—with an educational focus on jewelry, of course.
“At Scuola Bvlgari, students will be trained by master goldsmiths, academic experts, and established professionals in the jewelry industry,” says Corinne Le Foll, Bvlgari Jewelry Managing Director. “This practical and theoretical training, recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education and aligned with European standards, will offer the most talented students the opportunity to further their professional growth within the Bvlgari world.”

Bvlgari crafts with a green thumb, as the new facility operates on renewable energy, creating an ecosystem of sustainability and innovation, where the environment is thoughtfully represented throughout every step of the Maison’s process. Implemented with new technologies—a geothermal field for heating and cooling, solar energy panels, and advanced water management—the building maintains Bvlgari’s carbon-neutral operations.

“The expansion of our Manufacture is far more than a doubling in size and production capacity–it is the realization of a bold, contemporary vision for what the luxury industry must become in the future,” says Jean-Christophe Babin, Bvlgari CEO. “By 2029, we will have created a total of 1,600 jobs, and we will remain dedicated to contributing to the excellence of this territory and to the art of jewelry.”

To commemorate the grand expansion, two sculptures were unveiled on the Manifattura grounds—Serpenti by Zaha Hadid, created in 2011 and now situated in its courtyard, and Vista Aeterna by Sabine Marcelis, of last year’s creation, located in front of the main façade.
