Calling All Sneakerheads: What To Know For Yeezy Day 2022
Mark your calendars. The notorious Yeezy day is on the horizon and approaching fast.
Mark your calendars because falling on August 1st and 2nd this year, the infamous Adidas Yeezy Line launches “Yeezy Day” promoting the restock of limited product and the unveiling of new sneakers. Established in 2019, Yeezy Day has been one the most, if not the most, important day for sneakerheads. During this sliver of time, the door opens just a smidge or a lot if you are patient, and individuals have their opportunity to act fast and get their feet in a pair of these sought after trainers.
On this day, the one and only Kanye West in engagement with the adidas team will debut up to 20 new sneakers (though in the past they have dropped up to 30 different options over the course of 24 hours) with updated colorschemes and versatile design mechanics. For this drop, the Yeezy line will issue the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 “Static,” the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Core Red,” the Yeezy 700 V3 “Azeal,” the Yeezy 700 V1 “Analog,” the Yeezy 350 V2 “Sesame,” and the Yeezy Boost 350 “Turtle Dove” and many others, as well as introduce the Yeezy Slide “Flax.”
How Did This Become “Yeezy Day?”
Back in 2013, following the estrangement between Nike and Kanye West, West launched the Yeezy Line with Adidas. The first model to arrive from this collaboration was the Yeezy Boost 350. From the first moment this dropped and Yeezy was spotted flaunting these bad boys around Los Angeles, the sneakerhead community turned berzerk anxiously searching for these trainers.
How Do I Secure A Pair?
At an unknown time on August 1st and 2nd, the drop will occur on both the Yeezy Supply website and the Adidas Confirmed app (linked below). Judging from previous years, the launches will most take disclose in 30-minute increments
