Calvin Klein held its Spring/Summer 2013 presentation on November 29th, and the look told a story of lost innocence. The line is classic Klein, from the whitewashed denim to the all-American briefs, with a focus on clean-lined sex appeal. The models posed in a playfully minimal prison, staged between bars of a Bauhausian simplicity. The garments and the setting juxtaposed a sultry austerity against youthful casualness: theatrical shadows against bright white walls, and heavy metal near lounge chairs. The result, what Calvin Klein is known for: basics both basic and unexpectedly sexy.
