Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana – Fashion Hub is opening in September 2021

Promoting the most interesting international talents by making sure they have a dedicated stage is the role of the Fashion Hub during the Milano Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2022 collection.

The Fashion Hub opened in the Museo della Permanente with a special evening event hosted by the Italian actress Fiammetta Cicogna.

During the opening ceremony, CNMI President Carlo Capasa and Gabriella Ruspa, Managing Director Marketing & Business Development at DHL Express Italy, a longstanding partner in this project, handed prizes to the three winners of the DHL Young Designer Awards: Gilberto Calzolari, whose collection is on display at the Fashion Hub, Des_Phemmes, an effortless avant-garde seasonal brand and Marco Rambaldi, the knitwear brand for women, who are included in the official CNMI calendar.

The aim of the DHL Young Designer Awards is to support and encourage the talent of emerging designers, to whom DHL will supply concrete assistance for their process of expansion on international markets. DHL, in fact, is firmly committed to the development of projects with key global partners to support the internationalization of Made in Italy excellences.

It was during the inauguration ceremony that Carlo Capasa, Giacomo Santucci and Beppe Angiolini handed over the Camera Buyer Italie award to young designers Michael Peter Reid & Domenico Orefice, with a special mention to Alessia Dovero e Sipho Mbuto, all part of the project “Fashion Bridges – I Ponti della Moda”.

Throughout this Milan Fashion Week, the Fashion Hub will be hosting events and meetings with prestigious buyers to discuss new developments in retailing and offers an international visibility to the talented designers.
