On Cardi B’s ode to hedonism “I Like It” featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin, the rapper rattles off a list of highly relatable must-haves, from “million dollar deals” to “those Balenciagas, the ones that look like socks.” But judging by the song’s just-released video, she also likes Marc Jacobs; the video sees the MC in a variety looks from the designer’s Spring 2018 Ready-to-Wear collection.

And the feeling is mutual. Shortly after Cardi teased the new video last night, the official Instagram for Marc Jacobs reposted the clip with the hashtag “#MJSS18.” The pairing is apt given Jacobs’s long-held reverence for female rappers; Jacobs has nurtured a friendship with Lil’ Kim since the pre-Nicki mid-2000s. But the designer has clearly made room in his rolodex for Cardi, hosting her at to his show in February, where she showed up channeling Marilyn Monroe in a strapless silk dress and off-the-shoulder boa.

Cardi’s recent penchant for retro looks marks an evolution in her fashion journey. Where her leather-clad, Louboutin-heeled “Bodak Yellow” was bossed up, the “I Like It” video, in which she recalls multifaceted performers of the past like Lucille Ball and Carmen Miranda, shows the rapper’s lighter side—and we like it like that.
