Cartier Hosts Three-Day Extravaganza for Clash de Cartier Launch
The french jewelry icons brought some of the world’s brightest stars together for three days of festivities for their new line.
As if the city of light couldn’t shine any brighter. Cartier hosted its annual international party in Paris for the launch of the Clash de Cartier collection, and the three days of events didn’t disappoint.
Starting with dinner on April 10th, hosted by President & CEO of Cartier International Cyrille Vigneron in la Conciergerie, the kickoff started with performances by the likes of french cult favorite Christine & the Queens, Billy Idol, and L’Impératrice. VIP attendees included the likes of Jake Gyllenhaal and Sophia Coppola, with icons such as Monica Bellucci fraternizing with newcoming industry darlings like Claire Foy and current VMAN cover star Charlie Heaton. V cover alum Troye Sivan attended the fête.
Two further installments of the party dominated the three days: la Galerie, a bookshop curated by industry legend Michel Gaubert with juxtaposing titles and vinyls. The space was done in partnership with Galignani, the oldest English-language bookstore on the continental Europe, and the window displays were the creations of designer Tiffany Godoy.
Finally, the Bronx-native culinary clan Ghetto Gastro brought the sensory elements of the African diaspora to a traditional french dining context. Called Bronx Brasserie, the pop-up transformed a courtyard into a full-blown restaurant.
The vibrancy of cultural clashes aside, the 23V Cartier Boutique Place Vendôme offered its own performances while also offering Clash de Cartier exclusively.
