Catch ’em All: Billionaire Boys Club x Pokémon
Pokémon continues it’s fashion takeover with a capsule collection with Billionaire Boys Club.
Billionaire Boys Club, the luxury streetwear brand founded by Pharrell Williams, just launched a capsule collection with… Pokémon?
Yes – Billionaire Boys Club teamed up with Pokémon to create the collection of every Pokémon-obsessed boy’s dreams. The nostalgic collection features limited-edition items with special renderings of Generation 1 Pokémon characters and game favorites like Pikachu and Mewtwo.
Featuring a mix of apparel and home-goods, the capsule collection celebrates the lasting impact that Pokémon has had on youth culture since its founding as a Nintendo Gameboy game in 1996.
The six-piece collection includes a reversible knit Pikachu sweater, a Starfield Pikachu Hoodie, a Digibit Pokémon Tee, a Mewtwo x Billionaire Boys Club Arch Logo tee, a Starfield Pikachu Tote Bag, and Pokémon vs Mewtwo Rug.
The partnership with BBC is not the popular game’s first fashion collaboration even in this calendar year. Just weeks ago, they announced a partnership with Clarks Originals, with a limited-edition, Pokémon embossed Clarks Wallabee shoe.
BBC x Pokémon will be available starting Aug. 12 in physical BBC stores the US, Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, and online.
