Unveiled during Michael Rider’s Printemps 2026 debut runway collection in July 2025, CELINE’s New Luggage reimagines one of the house’s most recognizable icons. When the Phantom first appeared, its bold shape and distinctive “face-like” front quickly captured the attention of street style stars and celebrities, cementing its place in the cultural fashion canon.

The New Luggage builds on that legacy, carrying forward the legacy of an unmistakable CELINE silhouette. Crafted in supple, shiny lambskin with a smooth hand and subtle sheen, the bag balances elegance with functionality. Its defining feature is a reinterpreted zipper offered in two versions, including the playful Smile Variation, which curves across the front to give the silhouette a striking new expression.

Available in small, medium, and flat formats, the line introduces a newly oversized, horizontally wide version. The bag debuts in a palette that spans classic shades to bold tones. Black, soft tan, citrus, oxide blue, and deep brown arrive in lambskin, while beige in suede calfskin offers a softer expression. A small format in Porosus crocodile, available in black and chocolate.

The Smile Variation will pre-launch this month in select stores and on celine.com, with additional colors, sizes, and formats following in mid-November.
