Celine debuted their Summer 2026 collection on Sunday, October 5th at Parc de Saint Cloud along the Seine’s left bank. This sophomore collection from Michael Rider served as a strong continuation of his first. According to Rider, it was “as if the July show never really ended. The women and men kept walking and the seasons changed.”

The collection merged the freshness of summer with the sophistication of the luxury house. Like Rider’s previous season, a sensuality was conveyed through fabrics such as fabulous silk scarves and sumptuous leather jackets. Loaded with black and white, pops of color appeared like a reminder of summer’s essence. There was a timeless quality to the looks, and the collection showcased thoughtful, meticulous styling. Like the heritage of the house, the summer collection is both timeless and modern without being trendy.

With this season, Rider continues to reveal his experience at-large and with the house—having worked under Phoebe Philo for the maison—but affirms that he is in the right position at the helm.
“We were thinking about good times, about lightness, and about summer heat,” Rider says of the collection. “The tension between discretion and showing skin. About things that last, and things that are just a moment. And about how clothes, shoes, and all of it become a part of the memories we make wearing them.”
