Celine Premieres Winter Women’s 2022 Collection At Two Legendary Locations

Hedi Slimane’s newest Celine Women’s Winter 2022 collection recently made its introduction at two historical monuments of the French capital.

Today, Hedi Slimane debuted Celine’s latest collection: its Women’s Winter 2022 line. Taking place at two Paris historical landmarks, the unveiling saw models grace the halls of the newly restored Salons D’Apparat of the Hôtel de la Marine, the historic 18th-century building on Paris’ Place de la Concorde, and Hôtel National Des Invalides on the city’s West Bank, which received initiation by Louis XIV over 300 years ago.

The collection premiered with an overall darker hued color palette and garments ranging from turtlenecks, cargo pants, and trench coats to denim, scintillating skirts, and layered jackets with accessories comprising tinted shades, over the shoulder handbags, and various shoe styles including nearly thigh-high boots, sneakers, and point toed booties.

It goes without saying the line exuded everything the season embodies with its cozy sweaters, warm button-ups, and snug shoes. The line’s gold chained necklaces and jet black belts with a singular silver buckle and circular to square frames weave in an aesthetic of sleekness and sophistication as a needle does through a thread. Its settings amp this stylistic approach by fusing the contemporary with the archival as each location juxtaposes garments’ evolvement throughout time and place.
