The CFDA announced Monday the list of the ten finalists who are competing for the $400,000 prize and mentorship from industry experts in the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. New judges this year include Nicole Phelps, director of Vogue Runway, and Eva Chen, who heads up fashion partnerships at Instagram.

Notably absent from the list of judges is none other than Anna Wintour, who has been a hallmark of the initiative. Steven Kolb, president of the CFDA, had this to say to Business of Fashion: "While Anna's schedule won't allow day-to-day involvement with the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, she is still incredibly visible in the entire process and competition. She is aware of each of the applicants, and will be meeting with them in a private setting and attending all CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund events."

See the list of the ten finalists below, and find a preview of their work at Vogue.
