Giving the “unique fragrance experience” a completely new meaning, Chanel Beauty opened the doors to their newest fragrance and beauty store in Brooklyn in celebration of their newest scent, CHANCE EAU FRAÎCHE Eau de Parfum. Created by Olivier Polge, the scent holds Chanel’s classic hints of floral with other notes of “zesty citron, a jasmine heart, and the ambery presence of a teak wood note to create an energizing trail.”

Similar to the debut scent that embodies “a whirlwind of happiness” and a kind of nostalgia, the Lucky Chance Diner’s retro world is meant to represent the same kind of fated, chance encounter feeling. The diner is just a short walking distance from Chanel’s current fragrance and beauty boutique, which was revealed in the heart of Williamsburg in June 2023.

Lucky Chance Diner was what Gabrielle Chanel refers to as an opportunity, adding that the diner-esque location represents exactly what the new Chance line stands for: “True chance is what one creates for oneself: a state of mind, a way of being.”

In celebration of the new fragrance line, actresses, musicians, TikTokers, and models alike were invited to the retro experience on the corner of Wythe Ave and North 10th Street. In matching “CHANCE” color codes, all guests experienced the fully transformed diner and everything it had to offer. Interactive activities included arcade-esque games and photo moments galore.

Lucky Chance Diner will be free and open to the public from September 8 – 10, 11 AM – 7 PM. Reservations are recommended but not required, click here to book. Walk-ins are also welcome during public hours.
