Chanel Cruise 22/23 Is Coming to Miami

From Monte-Carlo to coastal Florida, Chanel announces November show for new collection

Three months ago, the vibrant tweeds and sequined jumpsuits of Chanel’s Cruise 2022/23 collection graced the beach of the Monte-Carlo Hotel, a luxurious venue of perfect harmony to the clothing’s coastal Riviera inspiration. This November, Chanel resort is coming to Miami in a nostalgic flashback to the luxury brand’s first visit to The Magic City fourteen years ago.

Chanel Cruise 2008/09 marked the brand’s first high-profile visit to the energetic city, when Karl Lagerfeld selected the Raleigh Hotel to present the season’s ever-glamorous designs. Now, Chanel is reinstating its adoration for the city that homes the House’s new boutique in the heart of its Design District, a 7600 square meter space designed by architect Peter Marino that opened in December.

This year, Artistic Director Virginie Viard brings a playful contrast to the beachy city. Mechanic-like jumpsuits in signature prints and full-faced helmets are hints of an auto-racing undertone, fit with similar nodes to tennis, boating, and swimming.

The Chanel Cruise 2022/23 show will take place on Thursday, November 3.
