When Chanel calls, you answer. And that’s exactly what the many friends and family of the famed french maison did on Friday to celebrate the arrival of CHANEL N°5 IN THE STARS, a new one-of-a-kind installation at New York City landmark Rockefeller Center that helps commemorate the 100th anniversary of Chanel N°5. With the iconic fragrance’s centennial happening this year, CHANEL pulled out all the stops to ensure attention is paid to this important milestone for the luxury fashion powerhouse.

In this impressive installation that boasts not only the world-renowned scent, (which is actually the first scent created by a woman and remains the bestselling fragrance in modern perfumery), fans of the beloved fragrance can meet coco under the stars in this captivating experience that walks you through the science of the scent, the breakdown of the bottle, and the long-led legacy of the scent we all know and love.

Actors, musicians, influencers, and V superstars such as Lily Allen, Kristine Froseth, Tommy Dorfman, Ajani Russell, Chase Sui Wonders, Jemima Kirke, Katerina Tannenbaum, Quintessa Swindell, Sadie Sink, Derek Blasberg, and more came together to enjoy a variety N°5 inspired activities as Rockefeller Center completely transformed into a garden of coco—and even the most popular ice rink in the world was dressed in the CHANEL N°5 logo. To top the decadent evening off—performances by the Brass Queens Band, professional skater Elladj Baldé and New York’s own Mary J. Blige wowed the crowd with energetic showmanship.
