Tender pinks and delicate peaches prevail in Chanel’s latest makeup line, metallic accents and iridescent shimmers blending the Camélia’s delicate romance with codes of a futuristic avant-garde. The Camélia Futura Makeup Collection, the delightfully dazzling brainchild of the Chanel Makeup Creation Studio and makeup artist Cécile Paravina of Cometes Collective, rejects the flower’s traditionally sweet image for an approach decidedly more modern.

To enhance the complexion, the Camélia Futura Powder Blush comes in a selection of pink, peach, and apricot hues, each delicately stamped with the motif of hand-sewn camellias. Use them individually or sweep on all three for a showy and exceptionally glowy glimmer. On the scoreboard of effervescent glow, the Fluide Enlumineur Iridescent Illuminating Fluid comes in close second, the liquid highlighter imparting a radiant tone when dotted onto the high points of the cheeks, the brow bone, and the bridge of the nose.

The collection’s eyeshadow quad, Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow, boasts a pearlescent finish. The embossed palette features a blue-violet duochrome, a satiny taupe, a soft pink, and a white highlighter, its lasting pigment imbued with a smooth texture for effortless application. The Stylo Ombre and Colour Eyeshadow provide a sharper edge to the Camélia collection, presenting a blendable eye pen in two matte tones and two statiny, reflective ones, each with a medium-thick tip that glides on with ease.

As for the lips, Chanel really does know best. Their Rouge Coco Flash Hydrating Vibrant Shine Lip Colour is a high-shine lipstick available in a peach with green iridescence and a distinctive pink with a blue shimmer. The stick’s formula, a combination of moisturizing oils including a Hydroboost Complex with mimosa, jojoba, and sunflower waxes, ensures nourishing comfort for the plumpest of pouts.

The Rouge Allure Laque Ultrawear Shine Liquid Lip Colour, a creamy liquid lipstick available in a metallic hot pink and an orangewood, brings a bold color with a silky shine, all in one swipe, and the Le Vernis Longwear Nail Colour, a protective nail lacquer, extends the line’s floral codes with satiny pink and greyish mauve options.
