On July 11, Chanel reopened its Bellagio boutique in Las Vegas. A collaboration with longtime architectural partner Peter Marino, the 4,778-square-foot space brings the decadence of the Strip into quiet conversation with the intimacy of Gabrielle Chanel’s apartment at 31 rue Cambon in Paris.

The facade is sculpted from white marble, pleated like a couture skirt. A curve of black fluted stone marks the Fine Jewelry corner—bold but balanced. Inside, seven salons unfold gradually. Leather goods and accessories greet you first, followed by rooms devoted to Fragrance & Beauty, Watches & Fine Jewelry, and a shoe salon framed by twin 24-carat gold Goossens chandeliers.

In the back, two ready-to-wear salons are layered with Marino’s signature materials: lacquered tables, Louis XV armchairs, custom carpets, and quiet gilded details. The textures echo Chanel’s house codes.

Art is tucked into every corner. Mapplethorpe, Succo, and Zappettini’s works are placed in fitting rooms—something you only get to see if you try one. Nothing is overdone. Everything is intentional.

Collections on display include Chanel’s Métiers d’Art 2024/25, first shown on the West Lake in Hangzhou, with its fantasy tweeds, silk skirts, and embroidered silhouettes inspired by Coromandel screens. The new FW25/26 pre-collection, which skews more youthful—sporty knits, vintage denim, lace accents—is also available.

Jewelry and watches shine against crackle-lacquer walls. The J12, the Coco Crush, the Comète—both timeless, yet modern—fit into the architecture. Even the fragrance and skincare areas feel personal: a space to touch, spritz, and play.

This isn’t just a boutique. It’s a space designed to be felt. It’s Vegas, so it’s a little over the top, but it’s fitting for the brand: elegant, yet tasteful.
