Willo Perron’s set, staged beneath the soaring arches of the Grand Palais, provided the backdrop for a runway that unfolded on a double-C platform—an emblem of the Maison and a testament to its top status in the world of couture.

The in-house team delivered a collection that upheld the brand’s longstanding codes. Each piece reinforced the atelier’s reputation for technical precision and timeless elegance, a legacy over 110 years in the making.

Texture and embellishment take center stage in this collection. Chanel’s signature tweeds were reimagined with painted and embroidered accents, while linings in bronze, pink, green, yellow, royal blue, and purple provided unexpected pops of color. Buttons were shaped into celestial motifs: moons, suns, and camellias crafted from rock crystal, metal, and rhinestones. Velvet belts, adorned with lunar and solar details, underscored black’s enduring importance to the Maison’s aesthetic.

The collection follows a chromatic cycle from dawn to dusk, moving through a spectrum of pastels, bright tones, and deep midnight hues. Fabrics were equally expressive, with chiffons, pleated and flounced details, and trompe-l’oeil effects that gave the illusion of tweed. The collection also played with proportion, alternating between short and long silhouettes and, at times, seamlessly merging the two.

As the brand steps into a new chapter, this collection honors Chanel’s legacy while charting a clear course for the future.
