Chanel has officially announced it's partnership with Farfetch, embarking on a range of new digital initiatives. Farfetch, an e-commerce platform for retailers and a leader in fashion-centric technology, will collaborate with the French fashion house in efforts to reimagine their overall retail buying experience. This collaboration will hone in on the future of shopping, one that is unparalleled in customer service.

Several months in the making, this first joint initiative is an augmented retail vision which aims to enhance the boutique experience while catering to customer's specific needs, ultimately creating a personalized experience for each shopper both online and in stores. As the first project of the multi-year partnership, a continued effort will resolve in more cutting-edge innovations to enhance the buying experience.

Excitedly, Fashion President of Chanel Bruno Pavlovsky says, We are very enthusiastic about this Innovation Partnership and look forward to implementing the first steps of our projects together. We want to offer our clients the opportunity to further experience the brand values and to feel something which is authentic and unique to Chanel. We strongly believe that digital will never replace the feeling of being in a fitting room and trying on a Chanel piece. We are confident that Farfetch's innovative technology will help us develop an even more outstanding customer journey by combining a great e-service offering with a genuine Chanel boutique experience.”
