The Première Galon features a nod to Chanel’s signature couture braid in its wristband — a twisted bangle made out of solid 18-carat yellow gold. The same braid style lined the edges and pockets of Gabrielle Chanel’s suits, solidifying the House code. The timepiece is available in pure 18-carat yellow gold, a diamond-accented version with a black-lacquered dial, and a fully diamond-set iteration.

Nods to the House’s history don’t stop at the wristband — the face is also designed in the octagonal shape of the Chanel No. 5 perfume stopper. The Première Galon draws inspiration from “The Première,” Chanel’s first watch released in 1987.

The Chateau Royale’s moody interior became a perfect venue for the gathering, welcoming artists, actors, and other friends of the brand. Riley Keough, a Chanel ambassador and actress, wore the Première Galon watch in 18-carat yellow gold with Chanel Fine Jewelry Coco Crush earrings and rings. Actresses Sarah Pidgeon and Lucy Boynton, both Chanel ambassadors, were also in attendance. Pidgeon wore the Première Galon watch in 18-carat yellow gold and diamonds.
