Chanel is getting ready for a beach-filled summer with the Chanel ‘Coco Beach’ 2023 collection. To kick things off for the lineup, photographer Theo Wenner and model muse Vivenne Rohner went to the Hamptons for a relaxing and aquatic campaign.

The photoshoot and film act as a follow up to Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2023 pre-collection campaign, which depicted Rohner’s everyday life in New York. Now, viewers follow Rohner to the pristine beaches of the Hamptons, seemingly on vacation as she relaxes on a hammock, pontoon, and, of course, the beach.

“This shoot reminded me of how I felt when I first came here,” shared Rohner. “Before you visit the United States, you watch all these movies and documentaries about New York, the East Coast or even California, and you have this image in your mind that doesn’t reflect the reality of everyday life. The Hamptons, on the other hand, is exactly how I imagined it, that dream of a white house by the beach… It’s such a preppy place.”

The collection itself was designed by Virginie Viard, and is full of white, black, and pink summer wear. Star motifs and iconography from the Hamptons make appearances throughout, with terry toweling outfits, nineties-cut swimsuits, tweed mini-dresses, and velvet jumpsuits as the main pieces.

The CHANEL COCO BEACH 2023 collection will be available in boutiques beginning June 15.
