Chappell Roan is Mac’s Viva Glam

With three limited-edition lip shades and a $300,000 donation to her own nonprofit, Chappell Roan’s MAC VIVA GLAM partnership is as much about giving as it is about gloss

If there was ever an obvious pairing, it’s Chappell Roan and MAC VIVA GLAM. The program has been funding charities advancing sexual, gender, racial, and environmental equality since 1994, raising more than $545 million in the process, and Roan has spent the past two years becoming the most visible advocate for those same causes in pop music. Now she’s the face of it, bringing three limited-edition lip shades that give 100% of their selling price back to those same organizations.

The three lip shades she’s brought with her are pure Chappell: UnNatural Red Head, a deep cherry matte inspired by her signature hair; Roan of Arc, a mid-toned plum lipstick-balm hybrid; and Damnsel, a sheer red-plum gloss with gold shimmer. All three come in collectible tubes with a custom sword-and-heart crest and give 100% of their selling price to charity.

As another part of the partnership, MAC VIVA GLAM is making a $300,000 donation to Roan’s nonprofit, the Midwest Princess Project, and its LGBTQ+ partner organizations: the Ali Forney Center, TransLatin Coalition, the GLO Center, and the Campaign for Southern Equality. The campaign is live today, and the collection hits shelves June 11.
