This nostalgic anthem is, simply put, lit as fuck.

After teasing the insane single imagery earlier this week, V favorites Charli XCX and Troye Sivan have unleashed their fresh collaboration together, "1999".

The piano driven track paints the portrait of the desire most everyone has: going back to a time when all you wanted to do was jam out to Britney Spears, watch music videos all day, and find pleasure in riding in the car (only for the sake it) with your bests. While Charli craves "I just wanna go back, sing, Hit me baby, one more time", Troye reminisces "'Bout JTT on MTV", a feeling each and everyone of us has on the daily if we are being honest.

Joining voices the powerhouse duo croons, "Never under pressure, oh / Those days it was so much better, oh /Feelin' cool in my youth, I'm askin' / Does anyone remember how we did it back then?" making this anthemic bop the fuel for a much needed Friday vibe with a soundtrack that takes you back to when you had no cares in the world.
