Burberry celebrated the reopening of its iconic East 57th Street flagship store with a star-studded entourage of guests, each lending unique, stylish gravitas to the cocktail event.
Cara Delevingne, one of the brand’s most recognizable faces, stepped out in a shaggy, maple-hued wool jacket paired with a floor-length leather skirt, perfectly embodying her signature edgy, elegant style.
The legendary “Goddess of Pop” Cher, fresh off headlining Tuesday’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, graced the event with her effortlessly fabulous presence, draped in a waist-cinching black trench coat and carrying a sparkly Burberry bag.
Tyra Banks, also recently off the Victoria’s Secret runway, dazzled in a trench coat adorned with the British label’s iconic plaid pattern.
Other longtime friends and muses of Burberry attended the glamorous affair, including Agyness Deyn, Jodie Turner-Smith, Taylor Hill, Georgia Fowler, Alexander “AE” Edwards, Dixie D’Amelio, Iris Apatow, and many others. The cocktail party was followed by an intimate dinner downtown at Jean’s, where guests continued to mingle.
First opened in 1978, the Burberry East 57th Street store spans three floors. The space was designed to honor the brand’s storied heritage, with bespoke nods to London architecture to evoke classic British luxury. The store’s window displays feature a detailed set inspired by British landscapes and advertising from Burberry’s archives.
The reopening coincides with the launch of Burberry’s latest campaign, “It’s Always Burberry Weather.” The campaign includes a series of lighthearted vignettes and portraits celebrating the British label’s 165-year history as a pioneer of outerwear, featuring Barry Keoghan, Olivia Colman, and Cara Delevingne, among others.
Burberry East 57th Street is located at 9 East 57th Street, New York, NY 10022.
