Chloé would describe this as, “Embracing the possibilities of women and the power unlocked by their vital communion. Reflecting on intimacies and affirmations with oneself and the world around us.”

The combination of digital and physical elements of this presentation added a fun factor. The screen, split into three giving different views of the garments at all times. Videos of the silhouettes served as signposts that decorated the steps of the Palais de Tokyo where the show was held in Paris. With the emphasis on the female gaze with a global lens, American artist Corita Kent’s silkscreen work adds to the visual poetry of the collection. Plus, it gave a sense of Chloé color that we love — complimenting the washed neons, bleached neutrals, and warm mineral tones. Corita’s artwork versatile for knits and wovens and accentuated with accessories — molded clutch bags, cuffs, sunglasses pouches, and keyhole sandals boots on the foot.

Key moments included an embroidered butterfly collars, tooled and topstitched trench belts, the use of crèpe, sack skirts, a new gilded motif, and tablier dresses in silk and summer wools. Major ruffle moments were also on display. However, boyish separates prevent the runway from becoming overrun with feminine silhouettes, Natacha balancing this by including long blazers, trousers, and shorts. Each piece in the Spring-Summer 2021 collection is an expression of Chloé’s timeless attitude.
