Big news broke in the beauty world this week: Dior has just announced Christian Serratos as the newest member of the Dior Beauty team.

Serratos is best known for her role in AMC’s The Walking Dead and most recently known for her acclaimed portrayal of Selena in the Netflix series, Selena: The Series.

The American actress will be representing the brand as ambassador for the US, supporting Dior Beauty across all of its wide-ranging categories including makeup, skincare, and fragrance. Serratos is joining a star-studded lineup of beauty ambassadors, joining the likes of Milla Jovovich, Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, and Rihanna. Dior ambassadors play a pivotal role in brand outreach and act as a figurehead to engage the community and promote the newest and greatest Dior Beauty products.

In a statement, Serratos expressed her excitement to be joining the brand, calling it “a dream come true.”

“For me, the House of Dior has always been an iconic brand representing femininity and elegance,” Serratos continued. “Even from a young age I was passionate about beauty and I recognized that just a few products could have a big impact on your mood and confidence. I am honored to call myself a member of the Dior family.”
