Christine and The Queens return with a new single titled “People, I’ve been sad,” which was released via Because Music. Following her acclaimed second album Chris and 18 months of live shows and collaborations, including Charli XCX on the 2019 single “Gone,” the French sensation invites us into her world with the synth- and bass-heavy song.

A live performance of “People, I’ve been sad” was also released today on COLORS, where Christine is wearing a satin blazer and chunky platform heels while eloquently singing “If you disappear, then I’m disappearing too, you know the feeling.”
