As Christopher Bailey prepares for his exit at Burberry, he leaves behind a memorable presence at the brand he called home for 17 years. For his last collection, Bailey commemorates the LGBTQ+ community with a rainbow check. The check is to be included in the entire collection, which is scheduled to debut February 17th during London Fashion Week.

In addition to the open stance of solidarity, Burberry has already made donations to the Albert Kennedy Trust, Trevor Project and ILGA, charities that aid in mentoring and producing resources for the LGBTQ+ community.

“My final collection here at Burberry is dedicated to – and in support of – some of the best and brightest organizations supporting LGBTQ+ youth around the world,” Bailey says in the brand's Instagram post. “There has never been a more important time to say that in our diversity lies our strength, and our creativity.”
