Clocking in At Acne Studios

Jonny Johansson commands the workforce with the new Spring Summer 2027 collection
Acne Studios’ new collection unfolds in the office, reimagining the workplace rather than allowing convention to define it. Creative Director Jonny Johansson describes himself as “fascinated by individual expression at the office.”
“Office life is the opposite of stiffness; I see it as a playground for my imagination, where I can subvert the codes of a wardrobe.”
That perspective drives a collection Johansson describes as a “remix”—one that takes familiar classics and reshapes them through a more experimental lens, allowing new ideas to emerge.

Each look offers a personal interpretation of the office uniform. Familiar Acne Studios signatures appear throughout, including structured jackets, pastel pink hues, tailored leather, and lightly worn denim. The collection plays with realism and perception: a tie is sketched onto a shirt, while a pocket is doodled onto a pair of shorts. In place of a stuffy suit jacket comes Acne Studios’ classic leather jacket. Denim, a cornerstone of the brand’s identity, remains firmly in the spotlight, appearing in studded iterations and a mid-’80s-inspired slack silhouette.

Footwear finishes out the looks. A pointed boot complete with a Cuban heel, cowboy boots made from buttery leather, and bejeweled sandals. Accessories bring it all together: metal aviators, fringed Camero bags, narrow scarves.
The Acne Studios workplace is a creative laboratory, complete with leather jackets and cowboy boots. It’s unconventional but stays true to the codes of the brand. The collection is fresh, commanding, and open for business.
