Last night in Beverly Hills, Christian Dior Parfums celebrated the launch of the house’s J’adore Intense fragrance with a special bash to welcome the arrival of the new scent.

With Francis Kurkdjian, Dior’s Perfume Creation Director and the mind behind J’adore Intense, in attendance, the fragrance mastermind celebrated alongside global muses including Dior Japan Ambassador Yuko Araki, Dior Germany Ambassador Harriet Herbig-Matten, Dior Spain Ambassador Nicole Wallace, and Véronique Courtois—Chairman and CEO of Parfums Christian Dior and of the LVMH Group’s Beauty division.

Visible throughout the Club J’adore venue, imagery from the house’s J’adore campaign, starring music icon and V alum Rihanna, helped bring the ambiance of the buzzy bash to new heights. Getting the crowd going, DJ duo Doppelganger Paris, DJ Kitty Ca$h, and DJ Inferno, as well as Grammy Award-winning pianist Brian Kennedy helped score the soundtrack of the evening in the sun-kissed venue.

For those unfamiliar, the new J’adore Intense is a gourmand-focused creation that blends floral notes of jasmine, rose, and ylang-ylang with hints of apricot. Its sandalwood and vanilla base notes ground its brighter, springy layers in deep sensuality and assertiveness. Serving as an intoxicating, feminine scent that encourages the wearer to embrace inner confidence and take up space, the ylang-ylang note, also known as the flower of the sun, imbues the fragrance with warmth, luminosity, and optimism. The scent, now encased in a glass amphora bottle that is 53% lighter—a more sustainable initiative that allows more room for the fragrance itself—comes adorned in decorative gold and the iconic teardrop shape.
