Coach Introduces Spring 2022 Campaign With Megan Thee Stallion, Jennifer Lopez, Noah Beck and More

A collection inspired by Coach’s iconic Horse and Carriage logo, and pop culture.

Reimagining their famous Horse and Carriage logo, Coach introduces their Spring 2022 campaign with a new vision. Coach creative director, Stuart Vevers, pictured the collection as a play on American classics “subverted through the lens of now,” and an exploration of the house’s legacy. To create a collection for the new generation of Coach, Vevers took on director and photographer Tyler Mitchell to create a new, first-ever style for the Coach logo, and an editorial campaign like no other.

The campaign, titled “That’s My Ride,” stars none other than the Coach Family, including Jennifer Lopez, Megan Thee Stallion, Noah Beck, Wisdom Kaye and Kōki, who are showcased in different modes of transportation that replicate nostalgic ride scenes in films and music videos. Lopez, for example, is seen biking with a posse of BMX bikers, while Megan is riding a bumper car at a seaside amusement park. This celebrates the idea of individual style and originality each cast brings to the campaign and their given ride.

“That’s My Ride” is set in New York City and Los Angeles, with Horse and Carriage takeovers across buses, bike stations and more. The campaign was also created in collaboration with new Coach ambassadors, Dean Fujioka, Shawn Dou, Parker Kit Hill and Elsa Majimbo, who are captured in cities around the world.

Much like its pop-star cast, the collection includes various pops of color. Crossbody bags and handbags alike contain neon prints, but stay within Coach’s traditional style. The Horse and Carriage logo, often in a semi-transparent motif, is now at the forefront of the collection, and stands out as much as the bright color palette. Coach also spotlights their Field Tote and Hitch Backpack in the campaign, which will feature the reimagined house logo.

“Joyful and optimistic, Spring 2022 celebrates our house codes through the point-of-view of a new generation,” said Vevers. “It expresses what I’ve always loved about Coach, which is the way our heritage can be a platform for individual expression and bold ideas that shape the future.”

Coach’s S22 collection will be launching in February. See the official campaign, and a behind-the-scenes look, below.
