Coach turns the runway into a party, celebrating 85 years of the brand. The Spring 2027 show began in classic runway fashion with a series of strong opening looks before evolving into a celebration of confetti and party hats. Glittering, iridescent, and silky garments set the mood, while sharply tailored suits and leather outerwear remained fiercely fashionable amid the festivities. Trench coats and blazers were left open to expose bare skin underneath, while suits were accessorized with long necklaces and statement brooches.

In the show notes, Creative Director Stuart Vevers reflects on the significance of the anniversary, reminiscing on the importance of memories and the relationships that color them. He draws a connection between the memories we carry with us and the bags we carry through life. Both become companions to our experiences, collecting and witnessing moments along the way.

His notes give context to the runway, a recollection of classic Coach elements while building upon this foundation. The looks seemed to gradually come undone, becoming less serious as the show progressed. Coach’s history with leather was apparent throughout, a lengthy relationship displayed through an expertise in craftsmanship. There was confidence in it.

The new Turnlock Tote took the spotlight. With its turnlock hardware and structured shape, it is sure to become a Coach classic. Vintage bags also appeared, perhaps a nod to the popular Coachtopia line. Confetti filled the air and dancers took to the stage to conclude the show. Guests were then led into Coach Club 85 to continue the night, the party far from over.
