Louis Vuitton’s iconic Capucines bag gets a 2021 remix this season with the Artycapucine capsule, distinctively redesigned through the eyes of six global artists.

Vik Muniz’ reinterpretation brings the bag into a world of colorful clip art; Donna Huanca works in abstract prints, meshing embroidery, printing, and hand-painting into a vibrant swirl of pigment; Huang Yuxing uses detailed brushstrokes to embroider a rainbow river across the bag. As a nod to Van Gogh, Zeng Fanzhi recreates his portrait, while Paola Pivi uses gold-leaf gilding in leopard print and Gregor Hildebrant experiments in monochromatic linework.
