The Chuck 70 has a new, future-forward look. In collaboration with A-COLD-WALL*, Converse has rereleased its iconic shoe with a new design and fit. The Converse x A-COLD-WALL* shoe is sleek and classic, and yet it pulls from a future of machines and computers. The technogeneration is coming – this new Chuck 70 affirms that. 

The new collaborative shoe comes in two colorways: Stone/Slate Gray and Lily White/Poppy Seed. Each of these designs has different aesthetic choices, but the patterning remains the same. Over the futuristic, geometric design is the dark, forbidding cobalts of the Stone shoe, or the brighter, more outwardly color-blocked whites of the Poppy Seed. Both are fascinating takes on the Chuck 70 and will pull customers namely on a design-preference basis. 

For those of you reminiscing upon your old beat-up pair of Chuck 70s, the collaboration keeps the same primary silhouette. The stretch bootie upper hugs down to the foot, with a polyester-spandex-ripstop shroud is laminated on the lower bootie. The shoe also keeps its elastic collar for ease of entry. In this way, the Converse x A-COLD-WALL* collaboration is deeply fruitful; Converse may add its legacy and silhouette, while A-COLD-WALL* adds its design choices.
